As a man tries to escape his mind in a mental hospital, he recieves flashbacks to years before, when he unknowingly killed his mother. Seeing these visions, he imagines a figure of a man speaking to him through the maze he has created.
lyrics
Slowly losing the edges of my mind,
Searching for someone I can't find.
Take off the cover look what lies behind,
The truth is there, just not quite aligned.
Remember all the faces from before,
The people I killed in my own war.
Now I'm one of them; an outcast,
And I have no choice but to blame it on my past.
Save me before I drown,
Bring me back from my impound.
Here I am, trapped in my mind,
My lifeline's running out of time.
Save me before I drown,
Bring me back from my impound.
Here I am, trapped in my mind,
My lifeline's running out of time.
Slowly escaping through the edges of a maze,
As the walls fade away and break through the last stage.
Taking over showing me my final days,
He replays my life and loops every phase.
Remember all the faces from before,
The people I killed in my own war.
Now I'm one of them; an outcast,
And I have no choice but to blame it on my past.
Save me before I drown,
Bring me back from my impound.
Here I am, trapped in my mind,
My lifeline's running out of time.
Save me before I drown,
Bring me back from my impound.
Here I am, trapped in my mind,
My lifeline's running out of time.
