Going back to the idea of depression in Gravity, Survival brings in the idea of the spread of negativity in the brain through the actions of a small group of people. However, Survival is more on topic of the condition the world is now in, encompassing the history of earth- the great depression, and numerous volcanic eruptions. However, the geological depressions here are/were caused by the initial blow of the supernova.
Survival is the first instance within the people of the world with the idea of joining forces and rebelling against the corrupt powers.
lyrics
20 billion living in one city in one world
Where few men are granted possible to find
Through trial and error it seems it's merged
Into a collective depressive state of mind
Mind the gap between the heads of those who weren't so fortunate
Ready to explore this exhibition of fear
Fear the start less than end of it step into the unknown
The last of the reigning heirs' deaths are near
We've done this on our own
We've built entire nations
Yet when we take the throne
The cities fall
This is what we've been shown
The routes of alternation
The void to the unknown
The cities rise again
The situation of the earth is too far gone
To support the fall in problems economically
The leaders turn from money to face
The enemy with a bomb made atomically
Lean in favour of them or us it's your choice to choose
Between the men who want more or corrupted gods
Gods of nature fuelled by greed and anguish neither one is better
The votes are cast to view the odds
We've done this on our own
We've built entire nations
Yet when we take the throne
The cities fall
This is what we've been shown
The routes of alternation
The void to the unknown
The cities rise again
We've done this on our own
We've built entire nations
Yet when we take the throne
The cities fall
This is what we've been shown
The routes of alternation
The void to the unknown
The cities rise again
The cities rise again
The cities rise again
